Conspiring Souls

I never knew or claimed
imitations of sublime relations between two
A couple blending their time
whether it was for long, for short, or just a few
we never knew apart
just together, distancing together, and finding together again
we’ve missed, needed and felt wanting-yearned
from miles apart at a time
until we were able to capture what was often taken for granted
Experiencing the feelings of love & betrayal
angered and led astray
yet when the sun sets
and the beauty of life rouses realities path of individuals
just then we realized
we’ve always been separate
in search of a way to become whole
we were merely 2 people
two individual souls, trapped in bodies
of humans in finding
searching for who we once were, who we once knew
the people we dared to become
No matter where we were in distancing
we always collected each other under the same moon
the same subtle stars
with novelty dreams
fancied in candied ideals tasteful to our beings
we shared a moment
for moments at a time
You and I
redefined our ever changing lives
by searching the depths of hearts intertwined
the letting and letting go
survival of a love searching for infinite wisdom
of a journeys continuous plight
we were searching for more than a few
moonlights, sun sets, and ribbons filtered in the sky
we were searching the realm of us together
allowing us to share intimate sentiments
a grandeur of cosmos wrath
In being together we found ourselves
as individuals
and in finding each other
we also found a love
known like no other
we wanted each others best
so we, the heavens, the earth,
and planets conspired one
fitting for two individual souls
holding one priceless non-refuteable, endless
Love

  1. “just together, distancing together, and finding together again” This is the dance of relationship, isn’t it… And you’re so right. We have to be whole in ourselves before we can be strong enough to stay together and weather all the interruptions. Beautifully honest poem. Love it.

I LOVE this line. Oh, the wonderful things that spill from the poet’s mind! Great work!
