The Inevitable

If you could paint your current mood onto a canvas, what would that painting look like? What would it depict?

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Frame of Mind.”

A full field of green grass stretched as far as the eye can see. A single weeping willow tree dried out and thirsting for water with no leaves. Blue skies sprinkled with volumous clouds ready to share sprinkles of spring. With just enough breaks for the sun shine to seep through casting a glow as if to respect the light of the moon. A wind that gently blows causing the remnants of earth to pick up like a twister traveling the land without a care, shedding its layers as it carefully sweeps through. Far off in the distance a mysterious figure blends in with shadows surveying the land knowing that whatever is about to happen is unavoidable and so it sits there, standing admiring the beauty that life has to offer at this particular moment
